Dimitri Rimsky, DPT
Dimitri Rimsky graduated with Medical Doctor Degree from Urals State Academy of Medicine, one of the best universities in the Russian Federation. He specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and then assisted in creating one of the first comprehensive and intensive rehabilitation programs at the Dinas Medical Center, which combined the best of both traditional and innovative approaches, integrated Western and Eastern schools. Additionally, Dimitri did research work on 'space suit' applications with the late professor Gregory Aizikov of Moscow's Institute of Medical and Biological Problems.
Upon coming to the United States in 1991, Dimitri Rimsky passed the National Physical Therapy Board, then became a Clinical Instructor, passing on knowledge and experience to future generations of rehabilitation specialists. Dimitri's area of expertise includes pediatric, orthopedic and geriatric rehabilitation, and his true passion is in the field of neuromuscular disorders. He is constantly researching and implementing the latest methods of treatment being developed in the United States, Germany and Russia.
Natalie Zhitnitsky, CCC-SLP
Natalie Zhitnitsky, CCC-SLP received her Masters degree in 1994 from California State University at Northridge communication department. Career achievements include working in hospital settings with neurologically impaired adults, performing modified barium swallow studies, evaluating and treating swallow and speech defects.
Natalie's experience with children extends to school and clinical settings, where she performed therapy focusing on improving speech and language skills.
Ms. Zhitnitsky is a clinical supervisor at California State University at Northridge training graduate level students in the field of aphasia therapy. She was nominated for Program of the Year 2007 by CSHA association.
Natalie Zhitnitsky is one of the few specialists trained in VitalStim therapy, and one of the few providing fluoroscopy swallow evaluation and diagnostic.
